Hi everyone, I am pleased to share beautiful and colorful eggs from my little flock! I have many fancy breeds, pure and mixed, and have managed my flock with the goals of having unique and hearty birds who lay beautifully colored eggs. Photos depict eggs from my flock (I tried to take pics in different lighting to show colors as clearly as possible). Hens included in my flock are Olive Eggers (F1 - F3), Black Copper Marans, Blue Copper Marans, Welsummer, Jade/moss Eggers, EE, pure Ameracauna, Cochin (bantam and full size), Polish, Icelandic, Appenzeller Spitzhaubens (chamois and gold laced), crested cream legbars, Brahmas, Silkie, Ayam Cemani etc. Roosters are Isabel Brahma (he’s huge and makes stunning babies), Black Copper Marans, Ameracauna, F2 OE, Crested Cream Legbars and a few bantam breeds (Seramas, OEGB, bantam Cochin, D’Uccles (all colors) etc. Eggs you receive MAY not represent what a future hen will lay- for example, a blue egg from a legbar or ameracauna hen fertilized by BCM roo will = an F1 Olive Egger. An F1 Olive egg fertilized by a blue/green gene rooster will make jade/moss/turquoise/spearmint eggs etc. A cream or white egg may yield a light colored layer etc. Although there’s a good possibility you will receive some purebred birds, my birds do free range together and I do not guarantee that, so they are considered barnyard mix. These eggs will be a customizable dozen, plus a couple extras. IF YOU DON’T SPECIFY OTHERWISE, you will receive a mix of colored eggs, from white/cream/terracotta/chocolate/blues and greens…if you want bantam eggs mixed in, I can do that as well (unless you specifically request some bantam eggs, you will only receive large fowl eggs - if you have concerns about mixing a flock, my bantams that are not separated for breeding purposes are in with my big chickens and everyone gets along fine). If you want only blues/greens or only greens/browns, etc, I can usually accommodate, but it may take a little longer to fill your order (this is not an advance order, but my processing time is usually a couple of days and it may take a day or two more to get exactly what you’re looking for - I am very good about communication and will keep you updated). It is up to you to message me and let me know if you want something specific and I will do my best to accommodate. Finally, please understand that once eggs leave here, I am not responsible for how the PO treats them. Shipped eggs are a gamble, but I carefully pack and wrap each egg and have had excellent feedback on quality and fertility. I recently did a test hatch of two dozen and 23 out of 24 hatched healthy for me (I just set another dozen and all are fertile and developing) - having said that, I’m in CA, so if you’re somewhere with sub freezing temperatures for the next few months, shipping is a gamble you’ll have to decide if you want to take on in winter (I am happy to mark them to call for pick/up or you can deal with your PO on your end to arrange pick up. 😊) P.S.
