Prior to writing this serial 'The Unpardonable Sin', Harrison published another in NY ten years prior called 'The Secret Wife'. A nearly complete set of that former series is known to exist, but little remains of this second series other than vague reference. The man who published this serial, Andries Nielen is very interesting in and of himself; he was a spice merchant in Cincinnati after immigrating there from Holland. In 1905, at 55 years old, Nielen retired to travel the world, then he returned and started his second career in publishing, photographs as well as this serial! This particular issue #82 has edgewear and discoloration, but is clean and intact and sure to please!
