Description: RARE 1974 H. H. SCOTT R77S AM/FM STEREO RECEIVER. These are rarely seen and/or available pretty much anywhere. A very solid 70 watts per channel. Recently professionally tested, cleaned inside, and the tech said nothing needed replacing. Cosmetically looks very good for the age. A couple of faint marks on the faceplate, minor scratching on the chassis in a few places, some of the screws on the rear show pitting/rust, this is also seen in other places on the rear panel. This was acquired from the family who were the only owners. I was not given any information if this has all original components or was ever serviced. A standard 3-prong power cord is required and IS NOT included. Plenty of pictures show the overall appearance. Look at them closely as they are a big part of the description. This unit is in working condition, but as all 45+ year old receivers are unpredictable as far as when and what service if any will be needed. With this in mind this is being sold as is.
