Description: RARE 19C (c.1810) Blue Willow small 3-pc soup tureen, lid, underplate - unmarkedvery early ruffle handles and flower finial top knob (instead of later lion design) dimensions: 7 1/4" long, 5 1/8" wide, 5 1/2" tall (all together) Good vintage condition. No ladle. A few food stains and several dark spots and places where finish appears damaged, including at the handle application lines. Discoloration inside bowl. Finish crack from a ding inside bowl, one minor chip at edge of bowl (shown), one rough spot on inner lip under lid, small chips along edge of one handle. There appears to be a very old glue-repair on the underplate (shown). See photos for condition issues and early 19th century idiosyncrasies in the pattern transfer.
