Description: Rare Antique 1910 Art Deco Leather&Enameled Sterling Silver Vanity/Purse/HandBag Description: Very rare antique Art Deco kidskin vanity purse with enameled silver cover. Diamond shaped hand bag, made of brown kidskin leather and black enameled sterling silver (985) on cover with filigree details on ends. Snap closure on front and short matching kidskin carry cord. It has an internal oval framed mirror underneath the cover. Silk interior lining, central coin purse and two more slots. Unmarked, but probably made in England, circa 1920's. Dimensions: Aprox. 10 x 5-½ inches (26 x 14 cm) Condition: Slightly soiled all over. Some humidity stains on mirror. Frayed interior silk lining. Minor markings and scratches and a tiny chip on black enameled cover. (SEE PICTURE #14 and #15) Somewhat greenish metal on coin purse metal frame. Loose closure (please see pictures.)
