Description: This is a super rare (1 gallon?) Antique 19th Century Stoneware handled Jug, which is stamped with cobalt decorated & stamped letters "James Richardson 53 Vesey St New York" Jug has cobalt blue decoration letters, and there's a long drip of cobalt blue to the left of the name on the side of the jug. Jug is in very good condition overall, but has a couple old, tight, hairline cracks on the sides near the base (the longest is about 3.5"). Spout has a few small minor chips on the inside of the spout. Jug is about 11" tall and is about 7" in diameter. It weighs just under 6 lbs.
