Description: Just in from a Seattle estate , Rare Antique (Tlingit) Native All Hand made Hammered & Carved silver Salad Set c:1900 , this was a Trade item that was sold through the Alaskan Trade stores at the turn of the 20th century . A set as nice as this is very hard to come by, as there design and style are based on the coin silver ladles from that time . The design is Raven and Arrows . It is marked "Sterling on the back of these , but more likely are coin silver and were marked later by the Trading post when they received them . The set are both about the same size 9" long and the spoon & fork part are about 1.5" wide . They both weigh at 62.3 grams ( total weight ). This item is previously owned. It is overall in great used condition. Please view all photos for the most accurate description. It is are tarnished from age , I have not polished , some of the lighter photo's were taken outside so much better light .Shipping on this item will be $14.95, US shipping only will insurance.
