CARL RACH This listing is for a vintage rare beer label that comes from a collection of brewery related items from Dr. Carl Rach & Son of 442 Van Duzer St., Staten Island, New York (patent holder for various brewery machinery). The label has center image of an Eagle with red shield with letter "M" in centers, arrow is one talon, and an olive branch in the other. There is a gold tone border edge (some wear to left & lower border and around the edges--see photos). Lettering reads: MANOR LIGHT BREW, Contents 12 1/2 FL. OZ., BREWERY WEST NEW BRIGHTON, N.Y., American Beverage Co., Elizabeth, N.J. Distributors. (I found a brewery named Bernheimer & Schmid Brewery and the article claimed is was the only brewery located in West New Brighton, N.Y. and it was open for 3 years). The label measures approx. 4-1/4" BY 2-7/8". When packed SECURELY for shipping, it weighs 4 ounces. Please pay close attention to photos for best description of condition, thank you.
