Description: For sale is an incredible, rare set of two metalware bowls by renown international designer, Gabriella Crespi (Italian, 1922 - 2017). The bowls feature a twisting branch handle, complete with graceful oak leaves, and a rimmed and textured acorn bowl. The details and patina are wonderful. Both bowls are signed on the bottom, as shown. The larger bowl measures approximately 11" tip of acorn to stem, and is approximately 9" in width. It stands approximately 5" at the highest point and weighs 18 oz. It shows signs of use and wear with plate loss, dings and scuffs, but I see no breaks or repairs. The smaller acorn bowl measures 6" in length, and is 5" in width. It stands 3" at the tallest point, and weighs 8 oz. Some plate loss, dings and scuffs, but no breaks or repairs that I can see.
