Description: Frank P. Stover was a prominent figure in Ft. Collins, Co. during its early years. Among his accomplishments, he was the owner of City Drug Store from 1874 until 1919. Offered here is a rare medicine bottle from that era. It is embossed with Frank P. Stover’s monogram and “Frank P. Stover City Drug Store Fort Collins, Colo.” It measures 4 ¼” high and 1 ¾” wide. It is in great condition and still has some cotton remains, along with some spotting and haze (see pictures). It will look amazing with a good cleaning if you choose to do so. The condition is as it was found at an old homestead in south Fort Collins. This is a great piece of Fort Collins history and a nice item to add to a local collection.
