Rare Huge Restored Early Wagner Ware Sidney O No. 7 Cast Iron Oval Roaster Pot

Description: This listing is for a very nice fully Restored Early Wagner Ware Cast Iron Pot known and marked as an Oval Roaster. It is the number 7 measuring about 17-1/2" at its overall length and and stands 5" tall. This unit has the Wagner Ware logo at the top. Sidney O, Oval roaster marking in the middle and 7 in a fashionable script at the bottom. It does not have a lid. The bottom is flat without wobble and there are no cracks, repairs or damage of any kind other than there are factory grind marks as pictured. This is somewhat common on the larger castings to remove slag or rough portions of the casting. This pot has been cleaned with the lye process, removing all organic waste including soot, baked on food, carbon and any other contaminate. It is then washed in a hot soapy bath. It is in similar condition as it was when sold new with only some light utensil scratches to the cooking surface and some factory flaws like indention marks here and there. The pan has been lightly seasoned with grape seed oil and will need continued seasoning if you intend to use it and why would you not.
