The item weighs 23" and comes in a cardboard reinforced box for easy transportation. The top handle came with the wrong screw and you will need to purchase a $.20 screw at Home Depot to screw the handle on properly. This item was very very desirable and is completely sold out online selling for between two and $300 and more as the rarity increased. Created from exotic hardwoods of the mango tree. This is a gorgeous unfinished piece. There is no varnish. It appears to be just oiled, and absolutely beautiful. The workmanship in the creation of this box is truly impeccable. This is brand new. The only defect I noticed was a very, very small hairline crack on the lower door which I will repair with wood glue before shipping. I am also a carpenter and construction company doing fine wood art. This piece is going to be expensive to ship due to the size and the packaging is not going to be fun at all. However, when this is the only one left available online, you tend to want to grab it quickly because it could go up in price considerably for all the people that coveted this, very popular unit that is no longer available. I saw them at different price points from $200-$400 when they were in stock, but they are completely sold out and this is the only one you will ever find. To package this correctly the box will need to be 29 x 20 x 18“ and it will weigh approximately 16 pounds packaged. I am very careful with packing and a true treasure like this needs to be handled very carefully. I will not even ship it UPS or FedEx due to their terrible handling of packages. This will have to go USPS or local pick up and if you can do local pick up, I will reimburse you all of the shipping charges. The item is located in Stuart, Florida approximately 45 minutes north of West Palm Beach, Florida. If you could pick this up from me, I would be your very best friend not having to spend two or three hours building and reinforcing this package safely. This was a very desirable piece of furniture when it first came out from the designer JOHRAN. From what I understand, he sold out almost immediately and this particular model is stamped Lot 1. So just in that aspect, you have a true treasure that is going to look absolutely beautiful in your house Due to just the rarity as well as the incredible expenses and time involved in packaging this beautiful piece I am not willing to go down any lower. A lot of people are seriously wishing this was not sold out and this is the first time to obtain one again.
