Description: Rare Old 19th Century Beveled Optic Cut Glass Whale Oil Lamp I picked up this beautiful antique oil lamp font at the estate sale of an antique dealer. It measures 9.5" tall and the base is 3.5" across. The top is magnificently beveled. The condition of this lamp is excellent overall considering it's age but it's not mint. It probably dates to the mid 19th century. It has a brass collar with a 1" thread on top. The foot shows normal shelf wear and a few minor fleabites. If you go over the lamp closely you will notice a few fleabites but no significant damage. I would rate it a solid 8.5 out of 10 overall.
