(RARE) please read. Vintage 1950's Silvertone Model 1451 3-Watt 6" Guitar Amp

Description: Silvertone 1451 was an entry level amplifier from Sears Roebuck in the late 50's. These lesser known small combos are sleeper amps, and have a very similar sound to the Tweed Champ, minus a couple thousand dollars.One great thing to point out about this amp is the fact it's had a line isolation transformer installed, making it safe to use anywhere! The sound is nice and quiet too. These amps were so cheap that they used tubes wired straight to the AC for voltage delivery, but have since been labeled "widowmaker" amps, due to how dangerous they can be if things fail on the amp. Luckily the line isolation transformer remedies this completely, and keeps the amp sounding great as well! CONDITION:At the moment, this appears to be the only (single) Silvertone 1451 amp for sale on the web. We are not sure on the history of this amp. Amp has a modification of a separate guitar jack we believe to bypass the actual amp.. This modded jack has been tested and we were able to get sound out if it.
