One fuel tank under each wing. Circa 1968-1969.Two ECM (electronic countermeasure) pods under one wing. Side-Looking Airborne RADAR (SLAR) under the fuselage. On a clear plastic stand with original 'engraved' nameplate currently taped to stand. Nameplate had separated due to glue drying out.The Grumman OV-1 Mohawk is an American armed military observation and attack aircraft that was designed for battlefield surveillance and light strike capabilities. It has a twin turboprop configuration, and carries two crew members in side-by-side seating. This FACTORY MODEL was the property of Major General John F. Freund. Some information about General Freund is available on wikipedia and other sites. We estimate this is circa 1968-1969. Aircraft is about 13+" long, including SLAR. Wing tip to wing tip measures almost 14" wide. Clear stand measures about 6 1/2" long. Condition is used. Expect wear from age and storage - may have scratches, scuffs, and paint loss.
