Description: ITEM DESCRIPTION: VINTAGE LEFTON PLAYFUL BOXER FIGURINE FROM JAPAN - CIRCA 1950's Vintage from the 1950's. Manufactured in Japan by Lefton. Made of glazed porcelain ceramic.Lefton Ceramic Boxer Dog. He is in a bowing, playful pose with both front paws turned out. He has beautifully lined eyes and light shading over his body. The clay color is beige and shows on his unglazed feet bottoms. The type of boxer is flashy fawn as he has white, tan and black markings. Glossy glaze. Hand painted details.Made by Lefton of Japan. Condition - fair to good with no chips and two barely noticeable repaired legs - repair lines not visible until inspected close up - both back legs. The noticeable repair is to the left front leg about midway up the leg. The break was not clean like the other two. No crack repair on the right front leg - never broken. Displays very well on shelf or mantle. Other versions of the Lefton boxer are out there, but this one is extremely hard to find.Measures about 4" tall and 6-1/2" long.This would be an amazing gift for a Boxer lover or a great addition to your Lefton collection!
