Description: Presenting for sale this RARE Vintage Olive Kooken Figural Art Nouveau Table Lamp The lamp is in excellent, pre-owned conditionMy research indicates that Olive Kooken was born 1904 and died in 1964. He created figural pottery bases for lamps with very interesting subject matter. This lamp consists of a creamy color textured pottery base with a brass human figure wrapped around the 'stem' of the lamp.This lamp is a timeless beauty and a beautiful art nouveau piece! The main section of the lamp is ~11" tall and the diameter of the globe section is ~8".Lamp has one setting and is in excellent working condition. It is a heavy lamp, weighing ~6-1/2 lbs. There is no shade for this lamp.If you have any more information about these lamps, I'd be interested in knowing more about the history.
