Description: For sale is a RARE original WWII Soviet Amoeba Sniper Camouflage Suit. The "Makirovochnyi Kamuflirovannyi Kostium", also known as MKK or Amoeba, was introduced in 1938. It was issued to snipers and reconnaissance units throughout the war. This example is not the more commonly seen and less desirable Camouflage 3/4 length smock, but the harder-to-find and complete 2-piece Camouflage Suit (most examples that appear on the market are missing the pants). Unlike other sets that are surplus condition, never worn in battle, this looks like it has seen its fair share of combat and will display nicely on your mannequin or framed up on your wall. If only it could talk! This example will fit a man approximately 5'10"-6'2" tall. Other Camouflage smocks have appeared on the market with unsightly storage stains, severe structural damage to the fabric, or post-war applied fantasy ink markings. This example has none of these issues and will make an attractive display; a great representative piece of frontline WWII Soviet Snipers. There is currently one other example in poorer condition selling for over €2,000 overseas. Do not miss out on this exceptional piece to complete your WWII Soviet sniper collection at an unbeatable price!
