Description: A unique steel bridge Redfield JR-C one piece scope mount for the surplus G.I. 30 cal. Carbine and later copies. This base was the only one ever made with the same turn-in dovetail ring system that Redfield invented for the WWII Springfield 03-A4 sniper rifle. Of course like those, the carbine must be drilled and tapped to use this mount. This has a detachable deflector shield to keep the cases from hitting the scope. This uses any of the Redfield Junior rings or any other brand of turn-in front dovetail system rings.
