Description: Regarde le Ciel brand style Roxana, new with box, combat boots. I'm selling because although the EU size is 39 and calculated as a US size 8 (which is my size), the boots seem a bit long. I would recommend a person with a US 8 who likes them somewhat roomy in length, to an 8 1/2. Depending on your foot or how you like to wear your shoes, maybe even a 9. I had about a half inch from my big toe to the end of the shoe. I tried them on with thick Smartwool socks and still seemed a bit long. My other foot is a half size smaller. I take a B width and the width is perfect - not too big or small even with the thicker sock. They have tiny rivets in the sole; shiny, feminine laces (that are described as velvet, but don't have a nap); and a functional inside zipper and decorative zipper around the ankle. I wore them for about an hour to see what I thought, and heartbroken, they just don't feel right for me. I'm not returning them to the UK because the shipping price is too expensive. I love these boots, they are on trend and feminine for combat boots - just what I was looking for. They have a soft fabric interior - not furry so you can wear them in the summer too. The original price at my local shoe store was over 300.00 and on sale now for still over 200.00.
