NOTE: Due to different viewing screens, colors and/or contrast, etc. of pictures may look different than actual. This is a 2021 model Fender Squier Stratocaster that's been Relic'd (aged) and modified to somewhat resemble a Vintage Stratocaster. Poplar Body with a Tobacco-Burst finish. It's been distressed with a dulled finish, finish swirls, dings, dents & chips to replicate age & playwear from years of use. "ALL" the Hardware has been aged down to every single screw! These are cosmetic modifications only that doesn't affect playability.The Single-Coil Pickups in these late model Squier Strats sound great! They've vastly improved over the years and have great output and clarity in all 5-pickup selections. Original White Pickguard was replaced with a vintage single-ply Pickguard I've had for years, that's naturally aged to a Cream color that looks great against the Sunburst Body finish and adds to the vintage/retro appearance. Also, aged Pickup Covers, Knobs, Switch & Tremolo Arm Tips I've had for years. *I've included a photo with a pure White Strat back cover for color comparison. Has a vintage style Tremolo Bridge with Fender/Fender stamped bent-steel Saddles. The Squier engraved Neck Plate was replaced with an aged Blank Neck-Plate.Maple Neck with a 21 medium Fret Indian Laurel Fretboard, comfortable slim C-shape profile, 25.5" scale, 9.5" radius, 1-5/8" nut-width. To further improve playability, the Fretboard has been lightly sanded with a very fine grit, buffed, conditioned with lemon-oil, then thoroughly buffed again to make the Fretboard extremely smooth, better than it came from the manufacture and plays with ease! *I do this to almost all Guitars I sell, new & used and makes for a significant improvement in playability. Frets are perfect, have been polished so they're bright & slick and the Fret-Ends rounded for a comfortable feel...no sharp Fret-Ends! Back of the Neck was also lightly sanded with a fine grit to remove a bit of the clear-coat finish, buffed, oiled, then meticulously buffed again. *Fretboard and back of the Neck weren't distressed for great playability. It's "ultra-smooth", fast and plays fantastic! And it has a Rosewood Skunk-Stripe on the back, and Truss-Rod Plug like Fender USA & MIM Neck have. Headstock has a vintage style water-slide decal applied and the entire Headstock sealed with Lacquer. Retains the serial number. Has 2-pin Chrome Sealed-Gear Tuners that have also been aged. They don't have the vintage era look but work well and no one will see them anyway.Strung up with a fresh set of quality D'Addario 10-46 Strings (the Brand most Pros use & the only Strings I use) and a complete set-up done including: truss-rod relief, low action, intonation & Pickup heights. Wonderful playing and sounding Strat with a vintage/retro appearance and is an affordable alternative! Like most of my Relic Guitars, the intention was to make it look like an "under the bed find" of an old, well-used Vintage Guitar. If you like the popular Relic look, I believe you'll LOVE this Strat! Has a Vintage/Retro appearance like it's been played & gigged for years! Tremolo Arm (Whammy-Bar) is included. Weighs 6.8 pounds. Since I retired, I upgrade, modify, customize, Relic and sell Guitars as a Hobby to keep busy. I consider Guitars to be "playable Art", with the playability of the Neck & Set-Up of course being key. I'm not a professional Luthier, but well above an amateur & I'm "extremely meticulous"! If you're looking for this type of Guitar, think about if other Sellers work on Guitars (most don't) and know how to set them up. Is the Neck straight, Truss-Rod functional, Fretboard clean? Are the Frets oxidized needing cleaned & polished, have dead frets or buzz that requires the frets to be leveled? Will the Strings be rusty or dead, needing a new set? And if it's a used Guitar, I'm sure you've found they usually arrive dusty, needing cleaning and require major tweaking just to be playable! Not this one! Also, will other Seller's description be as thorough as mine? Remember that you get what you pay for!This being said, I must also note: The Neck is perfectly straight, and it plays great, but I can't predict how you like your Guitar set up, so be advised that adjustments or a set-up to your preference "may" be required, and if you can't do it yourself, the costs associated with these adjustments should be expected. Also note that Guitars are made of Wood, and when in transit to you, temperature changes and/or Delivery Service Handling can affect my initial set-up, that again may require adjustments on your end.
