Remote Control Replacement Kit for Tempur-pedic Ergo /Extend Bed Base

Description: This universal kit converts old Tempurpedic Ergo/Extend bed base (see pictures above) control boxes with an easy-to-install 3 step process and includes a new wireless remote to control your bed base with advanced features like presets, one touch flat, and massage with three intensities and wave modes… even if your old bed did not have those features! (Note.. if your old bed did not have massage like the versions shown, that will not be an option on this new one either). Used to replace a lost or broken remote when there are no more replacements available or in budget or to upgrade a basic remote with only a few buttons.This kit includes all the wiring and harnesses needed to make your conversion. Total installation should take no more than 5 minutes but it does require tipping the bed on its side. If you want to ensure that this model is compatible, make sure to match up your old remotes up top or look at your actuator motors under the bed and verify that they are 24V or 29V and each have a wire that plugs into your old control box as you will need to cut and strip those. (We have converted several bases without issue and almost all of the beds we have looked at that have been made after 2005 use the 24V voltage, but ultimately we have not tested every bed on the market so cutting your wires is at your own discretion. You can however splice them back together if the conversion does not work so ultimately there is not a huge risk.)We send detailed instructions but this is as easy as plugging in a toaster once you have access to the control box. This is usually best done by tipping the bed on the side but some people can slide under depending on the frame.
