The waist narrows down drastically from the armpits, and I think it is for a flat-chested woman. Find a dress in your closet that fits you nicely. Lay it flat on the floor. Use a ruler and take its measurements as I have done. Compare my measurements with yours. Measurements taken on the outside of the garment are: armpit seam across front of dress to the other armpit seam is 18"waist is 12" across at the narrowest (about 23-24" around)from shoulder top to waist is approx. 14" (length)waist to bottom hem is 33" (length)total length measured from the top of the back zipper down to dress hem is 46" There is no return on this. It is too close to Halloween for me to relist. So, please if you are unsure about buying, don't buy. bag 1
