This Raku piece was created in 1996, It was the first of its kind made by Robin Rogers.The 4 Egrets pot measures 5 1/2” tall x 7” wide and is 3 1/2" in diameter across the base.This is an all original Raku Egrets pot handmade, wheel thrown, carved, sculptured and incised by this artist. Pieces of his art are found in private collections around the world and are currently on exhibition at the Mobile Museum of Art. Finest of its kind and still in perfect condition. Excellent condition! Robin Rodgers was raised near the banks of the Apalachicola River in Chattahoochee, FL. He enjoys researching ancient techniques and processes of pottery making. SOLD Robin Rodgers does not confine his pottery making to one street. He also creates bowls and vessels utilizing the ancient mathod of Raku firing. His work is represented in private, corporate and museum collections in the U.S. and abroad. In May of 2012, Robin's work was presented to King Juan Carlos of Spain during a visit by the Governor and Secretary of State of Florida.
