This well-built Normal 0 MicrosoftInternetExplorer4 8 ½” x 7 ½” to its highest point and from handle to handle, 3.2 lbs footed piece features a mechanical roll top with a floral repoussé band around the lid and on the base bottom. The dish is adorned with chased floral decorations and includes a 3/8” thick glass insert and a pierced finial floral lattice-like on top. It is a well-cared-for antique estate piece in very good condition, showing normal signs of use. There is some dark wear at the most frequently used points on the front and back of the lid, but there is no plate loss and no monogram. It is marked with the –SIMPSON HALL & MILLER Co.- logo QUADRUPLE PLATE – PATD NOV 21 1882-
