Description: Designed and crafted by Lladro artist Jose Puche, the retired figurine "Sad Jester” [No. 5129] is in mint condition. The figurine is glazed and features a sad-faced clown. He has blue hair, red lips, and a pink nose. A pink flower adorns the white-coned hat on his head, which he is resting in the palms of both hands. A single, wavy black eyebrow is painted above his left eye. The clown is wearing a Pierrot-style lilac-colored collar and has long ruffled blue cuffs just below his wrists. The clown was released by Lladro in 1982 and retired in 2000. It measures 13 inches tall x 6 1/4 inches wide x 7 inches deep and weighs approximately 4 lbs. 11oz. The wood base measures 6 1/2 long x 5 1/4 inches wide x 1 1/8 inches deep and is a deep brown in color. The base weighs approximately 1 lb. No box
