Sprocket, 42t Rear Sprocket For QUICKER gear ratio (off the line, roll on's, wheelies), use a 15 tooth front sprocket.-1t front sprocket is the most versatile way to gear it quick, this way you can switch back to a stock 16t with the same length chain. This quick ratio will be much quicker, but slower top speed with higher freeway cruising rpm's. For FASTER TOP SPEED, and LOWER HIGHWAY CRUISING RPM's, use a 41t rear sprocket.This -1t rear sprocket is a slight change that will be slightly faster top speed, but slightly slower off the line. * A 1 tooth change in the front is equivalent to a 3 tooth change in the rear.. but opposite effects.EXAMPLE: (-1 tooth front = +3 teeth rear) or (+1 tooth front = -3 teeth rear)EXAMPLE: (-1 tooth front and +1 tooth rear combined is the same as +4 rear only without changing the front) Stock gearing is the factory calculated "happy medium" of both low end acceleration and top end speed.
