Robert Handville (1924-1993) 20th Century New Jersey Illustrator best known for his sports subjects and genres. Original signed watercolor painting on illustration board Created for the Franklin Library Edition of Ernest Hemingway's Stories of Three Continents Signed lower right--see photos Painting: 27.5"x 22" PROVENANCE- From the Franklin Mint archive collection Looks good, in "as found" original condition, stains, board is slightly warped, unframed -- please look at photos carefully. Fantastic original watercolor painting by Robert Handville depicting a scene from Ernest Hemigway's Stories of Three Continents. This painting was created exclusively for the Franklin Library collection and is from the Franklin Mint archives. This is a fine example of Handville's illustrations in very good condition and with a nice provenance. My price of $299 is extremely reasonable and far below what one would be expected to pay for it in a gallery or at auction. Please view my other Handville illustration as well as my other artwork listed on ebay this week--we are adding a new bunch every Thursday. If not sold they will go into my ebay store at a more realistic and higher buy-it-now price, or removed.
