Description: Up for sale here is this recap kit for the Rock-Ola 41056-1A amplifier. These amps are found in the Rock-Ola 429 and 434 jukeboxes. At this point the amp is around 60 years old, and the old capacitors are weak and failing. We will make them new again! There are two different versions of the 41056-1A amplifier, with slightly different parts. The kit includes enough caps to rebuild either version. This kit includes replacement electrolytic and film capacitors to replace all of the old can, electrolytic, tubular, molded paper, and similar capacitors. It also includes replacements for the two resistors wired to the can cap terminals, and a terminal strip to aid in replacing the can caps, as well as instructions to explain how to install everything. The instructions will also go over some basics for working on tube gear. This does not include any tubes or other capacitors or resistors. New caps are Supertech axial and radial electrolytics and axial MPT film caps. You will get the exact parts shown in the picture. These are all high-quality brand new genuine parts, the same parts I use when I work on vintage gear. The parts included are exact uf replacements, except the 300 uf cap is replaced with a 330 uf and the 4 uf caps are replaced with 4.7 uf. These mostly go higher in voltage compared to the originals--the new caps are 50v, 450v, and 630v. There are radial caps to replace the can caps, and they should mount under the chassis nicely on the provided terminal strip. I will include surprisingly well-written instructions (with a link to download a schematic), but this is somewhat complicated, and you should know what you're doing and have a decent soldering iron. This kit will not fix everything that could be wrong with your equipment, but it will certainly help. If you are looking for a kit for a different jukebox amplifier, just let me know.
