As the originals are no longer available, this one has been adapted to work fine in the JP-8000, so it is a direct replacement, giving a smooth tact and perfect linear response from 0 to 127 in the A/D test. To enter the test mode to check your sliders, turn the power on while holding down [OSC2 SYNC], [-12dB/-24dB] and [FILTER TYPE], when the RAM test ends, then press button 5 to start the A/D test and move each slider to test it looking at the values in the display.
