SLEEVES ARE SET OFF THE SHOULDER AND ARE CRESCENT SHAPED WITH AN EMBROIDERED NET LACE TRIMMING THE CUFF. THE SKIRTING FALLS FULL, THE REAR IS IN A FLOWING TRAIN AND A WHITE WOOL BINDING TRIMS THE BOTTOM EDGE. POCKET IS HIDDEN AT THE RIGHT SIDE SEAM. INTERIOR IS LINED IN PLAIN COTTON WITH A FAN OF BONING ON EACH SIDE OF THE INTERIOR. CONDITION: ONLY HALF OF THE BUTTONS ARE PRESENT AND THE ONES THAT REMAIN HAVE LARGE BREAKS, I PERSONALLY WOULD REPLACE ALL. CARTRIDGE PLEATING WAS TAKEN OUT AT THE VERY FRONT WHERE THE CLOSURE IS TO INCREASE THE SIZE SEVERAL INCHES AND I PERSONALLY WOULD RESTORE THE CARTRIDGE PLEATS TO RETURN IT TO THE ORIGINAL SIZING. TWO ERASER SIZED UNSEEN STAINS ARE ON THE CENTER FRONT SKIRTING AND ARE COMPLETELY UNNOTICED AND TWO HOOKS AT THE CLOSURE NEED REPLACEMENT AND I WOULD USE PERIOD HAMMERED BRASS HOOKS TO MATCH THE PRESENT ONES. THERE IS A SMALL FRAY HOLE WHERE ONE OF THE BUTTONS WAS REMOVED. THIS GOWN IS FRESHLY HAND LAUNDERED BY US AND THE CONDITION IS EXCEPTIONAL AND TRULY MUSEUM WORTHY.
