Description: For sale is a rongorongo tablet from Easter Island. This incredible tablet has an enormous amount of carving on it. The reverse is carved as well and is signed Marcos Rapu. Marcos is an Easter Island native who is working to reclaim and repatriate Easter Island artifacts. I am selling part of my collection and this piece was originally bought from an antique dealer in Hawaii who had purchased a high end collection from a wealthy world travelled collector who was downsizing. Measurements: 31 1/2 X 9 inches and in very good condition. This is a rare find and is a incredible piece to add to your tribal primitive art collection.
