Description: This is a lovely bone china tea cup and saucer set by ROYAL ALBERT of England, decorated with blue flowers and sprigs of wheat, on a background of pale blue. The inside of the cup has a sprig of wheat on a white background. The cup shape is named Montrose and is faintly scalloped on the edges while the saucer has a more pronounced scallop. All edged in shiny gold! Made in England! The best! There is also gold on the handle and the cups foot is completely gold. This pattern is an un-named pattern, but is similar to the named Cornflower pattern, which is on a white background. I found the pattern on this cup listed on royalalbertpatterns.com, where they have it listed as pattern #34 on page 1 of the un-named Royal Albert patterns. According to them, this was made in the 1970’s-1980’s. The cup holds 6 ounces (3/4 cup) and is 3 & 1/2 inches in diameter, and is 2 & 3/4 inches tall. The saucer is 5 & 1/2 inches in diameter. This set is in excellent shape and I see no cracks, stains, or crazing. Please zoom in on the pictures and see the 360 degree video for a closer look.
