Description: RARE vintage set of two luncheon plates by ROYAL CAULDON with a dramatic red rose and distinctive embossed trim. This may be the Woodstock pattern—but can’t be sure. Each measures about 9 5/8” in diameter. The backstamp consists of: Cauldon England—Est. 1774—made in England—d2475 and some additional markings, the Cauldon name, crown mark, England. The plates have small green numbers on the back. EXCELLENT condition—no chips or breaks, but one of the plates has crazing within the bottom inner circle. Bold, vivid red and green colors. I have a third plate available, which is also in excellent condition, but has crazing on the face as well as the front—if you purchase the two plates that I am listing and you are interested in the 3rd plate, we can negotiate a lower price for the plate. 2C
