Description: Description: Up for sale is a beautiful Royal Copenhagen Blue Flowers Braided Single (1) Sugar Bowl & Lid (#10 / 8082). At the time this listing was written, multiple place setting pieces, extra pieces, and many serving pieces were available in this pattern, so be sure and check out my many other lots! The sugar bowl & lid measures approximately 4.75” in height and the piece is marked with the following backstamp: “Royal Copenhagen, Denmark, 10 / 8082,” in addition to the three blue line logo and the initials of the artist. The sugar bowl & lid has a white/ivory base with blue floral (flowers) design and a braided, yet smooth design. Please note that the piece is hand painted and each piece may display variations in the intensity of color or unique features/design. The pattern has been discontinued with the years of manufacture between 1780 and 2012. The sugar bowl & lid is 1st quality (no mark through the Royal Copenhagen logo). Condition: Please note that the exterior body of the bowl does have a small yellow stain and a small glazing imperfection that can be seen in the photos. Otherwise though, the sugar bowl & lid is in great condition and looks to have been rarely used. The sugar bowl & lid was acquired as part of a much larger set with little history known; however, no major condition issues (chips, cracks, crazing) were noticed upon a thorough inspection. The piece may show extremely light utensil marks, light cleaning or storage scratches, or minor imperfections to the glaze and/or paint, but the piece looks only lightly used.
