Description: The Rustic Cottage Birdhouse: Unique Handmade Yard ArtThis birdhouse is made for the birds, and it will make a great home for a variety of cavity nesting birds including chickadees and wrens. The front features an entrance guard and a repurposed metal star. The birdhouse is made from reclaimed cedar fencing. It's about 9-1/2 inches tall, 5-1/2 inches wide, and 5-1/2 inches deep. One side pivots opens on weather-resistant screws for cleaning out the nesting box. Another screw keeps the door closed. There are openings under the roofline for ventilation, and the corners of the floor are notched for good drainage. The entrance hole is 1-1/4 inches in diameter, and the interior floorspace is 4 inches x 4 inches. Each birdhouse is made individually. The birdhouse hangs from a cable (included), or mount it on top of a pole or to a post. There's a small starter hole for a screw in the back. Please view the pictures carefully.
