I have been making a variety of ears for over three years. I have made over 1500 pairs of ears and I do take requests! My ears are handmade but the headbands are standard adult size headbands purchased from Amazon. These ears MAY be too large for children, I recommend ages 3 and up. Headbands are lightweight and flexible and can be gently scretched to make them more loose fitting. My ears are comfortable, and will not make your head or ears sore. The average pair of ears weigh 8oz. However, the more material, rhinestones, lights etc the heavier they will be. **Note: these ears are a novelty item (Meaning these ears are for fun and are not the same as wearing a hat) and it would be best to take them off before riding any fast rides or doing any strenuous activities! Ears are made from a variety of materials: cardboard, polyfil stuffing, cotton and lycra fabrics, etc. I also use hot glue and E6000 glue on all my ears which can be found at any craft store. If a sequin becomes loose overtime I recommend E6000 to reinforce. **Warning: Glue does become pliable at temperatures above 100 degrees Fahrenheit. Please do not leave ears inside a hot car or leave outside in the direct sunlight for prolonged periods of time. **LIGHTS: Batteries are included! All light up ears come with an ON/OFF switch located on the side of the headband for easy access. Lights require 2 standard watch batteries or CR2032 batteries. They are easy to change and no tools required! The on/off switch has a latch that opens to change batteries. All light up ears have up to 60 hours of battery life!
