Description: This is a salvaged Indian 10x coin from the "Admiral Gardner" wreck which sank off south foreland on the goodwin sands January 1809 with approximatly 48 tons of coins on its way to India for the East India Company. this coin is in exellent condition from deep in the wreck some of the others i have sold were well worn. i am selling my own collections now. the inscription is persian and translates to "under the patronage of the king and parlement of England "
