Description: Sanford Meisner Typed Letter Signed to Actor Neighborhood Playhouse 1943 Sanford Meisner Typed Letter Signed to Actor Neighborhood Playhouse 1943 Click images to enlarge Description Sanford Meisner, typed letter signed to actor Eric Martin on Neighborhood Playhouse letterhead, 1 page, 5 ½ by 8 ½ inches, glued at the top of the letter to a playhouse program dated May 13, 1943, which is glued to a page from a scrapbook of Martin with another Playhouse program and a schedule for the Roxy Theatre, New York, all in good condition. Meisner directed Martin in two plays at the Playhouse. In the letter Meisner writes a warm note to the actor telling him that he was "genuinely pleased to have had you in the play. Work easily and you will work well and don't commit hari-kari all over that very smart dinner jacket."
