This very attractive ceramic cake, pudding, or gelatin kitchen mold was made in West Germany by the Scheurich GmbH & Co West Germany. The molds have a hanger hole so can be used for wall decoration but are also very functional. There are leveling “feet” on the back side that are not glazed. See Picture. The company used a variety of names from the start of the company in 1928 by Alois Scheurich and Fridolin Greulich for a wholesale house, kitchen and tinware. The company was abandoned in 1954 and the company KG Scheurich ceramics was founded to produce decorative ceramics including vases, figurines, bowls, wall plates and candlesticks to later baking pans, ceramic grill and gourmet pots. Today Scheurich is mainly a pot and vase ceramic manufacturer in Europe. The West Germany was used between 1949 & 1990. With this type of pottery, there may be imperfections in the glazing. With magnifying a slight crazing is visible. Marks: The bottom is marked W.
