Description: Offering this lovely vintage porcelain clown music box by Schmid signed Y. Yamada. The music box depicts a clown seated on a suit case or trunk. He is holding a bowl of lovely detailed flowers. The color scheme of this piece is mostly white with muted blues, tans, and pale facial details. The music box is 8 1/2 inches tall and 8 1/2 inches deep from clown's feet to back of suit case. It is in great operational order and plays "Send in the Clowns "beautifully. There is an on/ off switch to minimize risk of over winding. The original Schmid sticker is affixed to the bottom. There is some paper loss to sticker. This item was made in Sri Lanka. I consider this piece to be in excellent condition given its age and usage. #2324SCM
