Description: The Metalcraft Scroll Bender MK2/2H Former is a bigger version of our entry level MC017 MK1/2 scroll bender. It produces larger scrolls and can work with larger metal than the MK1/2. Again this works as a hand drawn scroll bender jig, where the end of the steel bar is gripped in the center and pulled round the inner segment by hand. Larger scrolls are made by dropping in place the larger outer segment.The tool is also supplied with a special starting lever as an aid to help form the initial part of a scroll when using using bigger steel sizes. It produces flat and consistent wrought iron scrolls. For larger sizes of steel, you may find the Starting Lever supplied, helpful in providing the extra effort required to ensure a nice tight initial bend to the scroll.Drop-in outer segment to make a larger scroll. On the MK2/2H, the metal is placed in the slot of the center pillar. The metal steel strip is then drawn around center segment to produce initial part of scroll.Depending on size of scroll required, metal strip is drawn around further with 2nd segment placed in position.
