When there is a spare SD card in the extra holder slot, it makes the top lid close tightly, this is an oversight by the manufacturer of the GDEMU tray. Basically the extra SD card holder slot cannot be used. There is no GD-ROM drive, you cannot play discs with this console.Model Number: HKT-3020 / VA1 USAReturn and warranty will be void if you remove the security sticker that will be placed on the screw hole underneath the modem.The power button is a bit stiff as this is a brand new case. WD-40 has been applied to the button to reduce this. This stiffness will go away with time.The orange LED light that you see coming from the GDEMU will go away when an SD card is inserted. Includes only the console and 8ft power cable; no controllers, no VMUs, no games.Controller Board Work Done: Original soldered coin battery was replaced with a coin battery socket, and a brand new battery was installed.The fuse, capacitor, and resistor were all replaced to make sure your controllers work for decades to come. These components are a main issue with the Dreamcast's controllers not working, the fuse especially. I am using a resettable fuse, so it will never blow out completely like the original fuses.A schottky diode was added to the resistor to block the recharge path from the CR2032 making it safe to use CR batteries, no need to use ML variant batteries.Power Supply Unit Board Work Done:A full recap has been done, using all Panasonic capacitors. When replacing the GD-ROM drive with a GDEMU, there must be modifications to the PSU, as more heat will be generated with the lack of a GD-ROM drive; two components are de-soldered and removed, the regulator and resistor.Noctua Fan:Installed is a Noctua NF-A4x10 5V fan replacement w/ 10K resistor for a quieter and cooler experience.As you can see, the Noctua fan cable is rather long. I did this for a specific reason. I modified the extender adapter rather than the actual wire of the Noctua fan itself. I felt that if a better fan solution comes out in the future, it will be a plug and play situation.
