Description: Here is a vintage Seiko 6129-6005 Chronograph watch. Affectionately nicknamed “the Pogue” because Colonel Pogue of NASA. He used it as his personal watch in space. This is NOT his watch. Just the same make and model with a blue dial. This watch came from a veteran’s estate sale. Will need service. Chronograph buttons does NOT stop, start or resets the chronograph. Chronograph continually runs when shook. Then stops sporadically. Automatic iconic 6139B movement runs but starts and stops. Service history is unknown. I got this at an estate sale so service is recommended. Date changes normally at 12 midnight as it should. Bezel, case and caseback does have scratches and scuffs, but I think it adds to the unique charm. Crystal has deep scratches that can NOT be polished but I think it shadows beautifully on the dial. NO bracelet. This watch is a must for any NASA, Seiko or watch fan. This watch is used and thus being sold “as is” with no warranty. No returns, so please see all photos for conditioning. Photos are part of the description. Thanks for looking.
