The hose retracts into the body of the metal tube when not in use so is well protected. Mounting Bracket has 2 holes designed to fit the Allen bolts that hold your water bottle cage in place. Mounted on those bolts between the bike's bar and the bottle cage, it fits snugly alongside the bottle cage without interfering with pulling out and replacing your water bottle. But you can mount it elsewhere (may need more velcro and some friction tape, which I'll include if you message me after purchase) Light weight alloy body is so light that you just put it into your back shirt pocket or small travel pack. Pump releases easily from the mount so you can take it with you if desired. Dual valve types: Quick-draw Pump Head will fit both Presta & Schrader tire valves.
