Description: Vintage Seiko - full professional service - includes both straps in the photo set Weekdater automatic Caliber-model: 400-J13080 Automatic winding, double split window for day & date Crystal: Acrylic Dail: Silver sunburst Count of jewels: 33 Case: Stainless steel - refinished nearly like new Case: 37mm with crown posts Thickness: 10.8mm Lugs: 19mm Fits up to 7.75” wrist SERVICE RECORDS ARE PHOTOGRAPHIC instead of paper documents, clearly showing the exact Watch with a full disassembly (included removing the spring from the barrel), showing the dial next to the parts, and a transparent timegraph report photographed with the exact Watch head on the timegraph machine. A document is good but a photo is certain, impossible to fabricate, clean, clear, and shows the truth transparently. The work has been done! Serviced: YES, WITH ABSOLUTE PROOF IN THE PHOTO SET, October 2024, very professionally with proper Swiss oils, from a true master watchmaker with timegraph results proudly and transparently shown. This level of timegraph excellence is only possible when using an absolute master watchmaker who has decades of experience, proper training, uses service publications specific to the model, has the correct tools and authentic Japanese or Swiss oils, and puts several extra hours into very specific adjustments in multiple positions, aka an actual professional service in a clean indoor dust free room. The photos unabashedly show every single angle, side, facet and edge of the timepiece, including inside and out. The price may be slightly higher than other non-serviced, lightly serviced or unprofessionally serviced models, or models with scratches cases / crystals. I have invested a considerable amount of money into the professional service for peace of mind for both the buyer and seller. Case May have light scratches. Includes a beautiful aftermarket buckle as well, as shown in the photo set. All vintage watches are sold as +\- 1 minute per day. Time keeping can vary after shipping, depending on usage and climate. Adjustments after shipping are rarely needed but possible. Days in English and Kanji. Crystal: clear, generally scratch free Functions: hour, minute, seconds, hacking, push-pull crown Lovely gold toned machine. Cal 400. You may hear the automatic rotor moving if you shake / charge the Watch, but not while you are wearing it normally. Dial: Original, not repainted Hands: original, correct to the model, light scratches Crown: original, correct Bezel: original Date setting: Pull crown out one position (click) and turn it to adjust the date, best done at noon or at 6pm or at 6am (NOT ever at MIDNIGHT or within 5 hours of midnight). Quickset instructions: NEVER adjust day / date between 8pm and 4am or the function will be damaged. Do NOT adjust the day date anywhere within 4 hours before or after midnight. It will break the watch’s day / date function. Slowly and gently roll the crown. Never speed roll the crown. The days will be more center in the window and it also creates less wear and stress when being gentle. Time-setting instructions: pull crown out 2 positions (clicks) and roll the crown slowly to the desired time, gently push crown back in and it will run. Please be very careful when operating. Message me for extra tips, instructions or video tutorials if you have any doubts about how to operate a Seiko day / date. The day / date function is working correctly, me and my watchmaker have checked the day/date function 6 times before shipping out. To change the day, roll the hands around 24 hours and the day will change. I have also uploaded a video with absolute proof of the day / date function working flawlessly onto YouTube under the video titled “Vintage 1960s Seiko SeikoMatic Weekdater Split Day/Date J13080 33 Jewels - FULLY SERVICED” If you don’t know how to set the day/date on an automatic Watch you must learn, ask me for help, or ask a watchmaker to teach you. Don’t experiment alone if you don’t know what you are doing. Curiosity killed the Watch! If returned with a broken day/date there will be a restocking fee up to 50%. If you have any questions about this lovely piece of machinery, please don't hesitate to contact me. This watch was designed to be water resistant & shock resistant. However, I have not and would never test these features on any vintage watch and highly recommend not dropping or exposing your vintage watch to water / moisture. No returns for water/ moisture damage. Please see pics for more details as pics are a part of the description, use the zoom function on all pics and don't hesitate to let me know if you have any questions or need any more details. Use zoom tool on all parts of the watch as images are a major part of the description. All measurements are approximate and can vary slightly depending on how it’s measured, the type instrument used and the condition of the measuring instrument. Colors are approximate, and also depend on lighting source, light angle, backgrounds, camera used, your own eyes, time of day viewed, and monitor settings. You will receive an approximation of the color you see. Please feel free to message me directly with any questions or concerns if you have any. I’m always happy to chat. Thanks! ~ Lukas
