Description: Set 2 Johnson Brothers purple British Castle vegtable bowls. Circa 1930s. Approximate measurements: the smaller one is 9 inches long and 7 inches wide and 2 1/4 inches tall. The larger one is 9 3/4 inches long and 7 3/4 inches wide and 2 1/2 inches tall. There are light scratches from use. The larger one has a chip on the base and a hairline crack visible on the underside. There is also crazing. Based on the 1790s drawings by H. Fennel. Kenilworth Castle pattern.
