Description: Manufactured by Rochus Heinisch, world renowned maker of scissors and cutlery from 1829 - 1914. These tailor shears were part of a my family’s private collection. They were my grandfathers who owned a vest factory in Jamaica NY CIRCA 1900. Each piece offered for sale is a testament to the craftsmanship and ingenuity of American toolmakers and are a perfect addition for any collector. They are ideal for cutting fabrics and textiles and especially ideal for those who are seeking a functional pair of shears / scissors with a historical twist and value owning a piece of history. The INVESTOR pair has 8 inch blades, 15 inches overall. They are in their original state with patina and have not been modified. The 231-11” pair 6+” blades, 11” over all. Both have been in my family since new.
