These books have very interesting poems, beautiful writing, some stickers, and are a fascinating look at a girl's life in this time period. You will receive 1. Brown leather book with gold decoration on covers. Belonged to Georgia Cole, Dryden NY. Signed in the 1870's from her friends in Dryden and surrounding areas. Measures 5 1/4" by 3 1/4". Considerable wear to covers, one page is loose from spine, some discolorations on some pages. 2. Black (probably leather) book with silver decorations on cover. This also belong to Georgia Cole in Dryden NY and she received this book for Christmas 1880. Signatures are from Dryden NY and other NY areas. Measures 7" by 4". Spine is missing. Some loose pages and wear to covers.
