Description: "Antique Red Glass buttons ~ NOS 1930 Thank you for looking at my auction and going GREEN by using Vintage. This auction is for a 6 Fabulous European antique glass buttons. They are a beautiful shiny red in color. They have a lace edge pressed into the top of the buttons. The edge has been highlighted in black. These buttons measure 3/8 inches across and are self shank. These have never been used or been in circulation before. They come from a card of 24 buttons that were manufactured For the Haute Couture Houses in the early 1900’s. I purchased them from a family member of the original business owners in Europe that had them in storage since WWII. I have removed them from the original card and sewn them to a trade card reproduced from the same era. These buttons are wonderful pieces of history that can only add to your crafting projects. These buttons have been stored since the 1940’s so time has stood still for them and they are in new condition. Many of my vintage buttons were produced in the 1910's through the 1930's. These beautiful glass gems would add a touch of history and beauty to any project whether it is used for sewing or jewelry. I promise you the pictures do not do them justice.
